Coral Princess - 3 Night Cruise

Waking up this morning on Coral, I couldn’t wait to explore the ship. I’ll never get sick of the sound of the ocean. Best.alarm.clock.ever.

The International Cafe

I had a scheduled ship tour with the ultra-charming and super nice Hotel Director Ren. But first. I needed some caffeine. The International Cafe on Deck 6 – I assumed at first – was a paid extra. Everything was complimentary. Cakes, protein bars, savoury options, so many delicious things. The tantalising treats in the display were calling my name, vying for my attention.

(Chocolate croissant, “Eat me, I’m flakey-chocolatley-goodness”)

(Strawberry croissant, “No, no, I’m berry-delicous”)

(Egg muffin, “Move over both of you, I’m egg-cellent”)

The egg muffin won out, and I secretly whispered to the sweets, “I’ll be back.”

Anyway, off went to explore. I mentioned earlier, Hotel Director Ren was escorting me around the ship. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone so naturally cheery and full of sunshine. At first impression, you’d think he was new in his job – such was his enthusiasm – but this cheerful guy (who must have discovered the secret fountain of youth) has worked for Princess for 20 years! Two whole decades.

Ren showed me all the incredible features of the Medallion, including the large interactive screens around the ship that you can do some super fun things with and then we toured some beautiful spots, including the Sanctuary.

The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is located aft of the ship, behind the Lotus Spa. Yes, it is an additional fee, but it’s such an elegant, luxe place to unwind and drink in those wake views.

Plus, it has its own menu!

I must have clocked up a few thousand steps and was secretly plotting my next cruise on Coral as there was NO way I’d be able to see and experience every nook and cranny in three days.

Armed with my laptop and tummy rumbles, I headed to Bordeaux dining room and the lovely Yalcin Restaurant Manager recommend the tuna melt and a NO-jito (a mojito with no alcohol). Very satisfying.

Now it was time to head up to the Wheelhouse for the Cruising With Honey Masquerade party.

The Cruising With Honey Masquerade Party

The crew had put on a wonderful spread of canapés, the drinks were flowing, and the party was in full swing. We had the most fun ever!

This is what cruising with a wonderful group of people is all about; joy, making new friends and connecting as a community. I was blown away by the generosity and love.

Dinner was another scrumptious affair with my darling parents. It had been such a privilege to enjoy quality time and create memories.

As the night was still young, bar-hopped from the Universal Lounge to the Explorer Lounge. The night was filled with lots of laughs, delicious margaritas and. This ship is quickly becoming a real favourite.

Next stop, Eden!
